Moved here from Florida. Cant wait to get out of Aiken county. It's dangerous, terrible traffic, nothing for the kids to do and they cannot attend public school. Shopping is ridiculous and the pollution coming from Augusta is terrible. Research well before you come here!

Too many businesses on Whiskey Road and Richland Avenue. Traffic is really congested and there are frequent accidents. Most parks are clean and well-maintained.

I was born and raised in Aiken and it is a relatively quiet town. I love this city because it is where I come from, however there are a few things that can get under your skin. I guess shopping malls are a thing of the past now, but our mall used to be vibrant and is now gone. Everyone from here knows that the Whiskey Road traffic will make you late for everything. There really isn't much to do for kids or teens aside from recreational sports and maybe the theatre downtown. Overall, it is a small quiet town and I enjoy it here.
